These replacement cartridges are compatible only if all the cartridges in a group are of the same type. A mixture of replacement and Canon OEM cartridges is not compatible. Nozzle check will not print correctly until all the cartridges in the group are the same type. I assume this is due to the difference in cartridge design where the cartridge meets the print head. I can?t say that this applies to all printers that use these cartridges, but experience has proven this to be true for the Canon PIXMA Pro 9500 Mk II.
