Page Yield (?) Page Yield is an approximation of the number of standard pages that can be printed with one cartridge, usually measured at 5% page coverage. 5% coverage is a standard 8.5 x 11 inch page with a light letterhead, address and three paragraphs of text double spaced. If you print mixed text and graphics or WebPages your page coverage is closer to 15% and therefore the number of pages printed with each cartridge will be less. If you are printing photos your page coverage is close to 100% and the number of printed photos will be much less than the amount the number of pages you would be able to print if you were just printing standard text documents. Can't beat the Original I enjoy being able to save money thru LD inks on the OEM Canon inks I rely on for my printing business. I have tried other comps, and while the colors were excellent, there were occaisional physical problems with the cartridges in the machine, & most important, they faded rather quickly. If you need fade resistance, trust Canon. November 1, 2012

PGI-220 Black I ordered two PGI-220 cartridges for my Canon printer and installed one on Jan 30 2011. February 10 it stopped feeding ink and I could not get a copy. I cleaned my print heads etc. to no avail. I installed the second ink cartridge on the same day 2/10/12011. This cartridge failed on Feb. 21, 2011. I drove 15 miles to get a new Canon cartridge. February 23, 2011
