refills and chips
love the alternative to paying for individual cartridges by getting these refills. The only downside is that the chips will not reset. For that, I keep old cartridges and swap them out each time I use the refills so that the machine is tricked into thinking it has a new cartridge/chip.

Returned Product
Returned this product after the horrible experience with the other refill kit. Good luck if you decide to order this. I myself will go back to ordering the individual cartridges.

Good way to save money
The refill packs were very well designed with the things one would need to refill cartridges. However, the instructions were a little confusing. The English language instructions were in several places on the instructions sheet. And the tool to remove the ball in the cartridge was difficult to use. But now I know how to do it and will be confident the next time I use the refills. I still recommend refills for those who are hands on and certainly the regular LD-supplied cartridges for those who are not. LD is a good source to deal with and prompt in shipping and tracking.

Refill Tank OK with Exceptions
I have used this product a couple of times now. Once you get used to it, it's a way to save money on computer ink by refilling your own tanks. The rubber plugs supplied with the kit don't always fit LD style tanks very snugly and some leakage might occur. I have to use a piece of masking tape over the rubber plugs to ensure that they won't come out. I wish just the ink refill bottles would be available for sale by themselves! It shouldn't be necessary to buy the tools, such as the awl and the refill needles everytime you buy ink. The refill tanks by themselves are well designed and don't leak, but the holders and rubber plugs that work with the tanks are in need of improvement. Maybe they work better with original Canon tanks rather than the LD variety. Overall, though, it saves money to refill your own tanks.
