Page Yield (?) Page Yield is an approximation of the number of standard pages that can be printed with one cartridge, usually measured at 5% page coverage. 5% coverage is a standard 8.5 x 11 inch page with a light letterhead, address and three paragraphs of text double spaced. If you print mixed text and graphics or WebPages your page coverage is closer to 15% and therefore the number of pages printed with each cartridge will be less. If you are printing photos your page coverage is close to 100% and the number of printed photos will be much less than the amount the number of pages you would be able to print if you were just printing standard text documents. Does what it needs to do: inexpensive refills Great for the price. Does what I need it to do. Been refilling my original DELL black cartridge for a couple of years now with no problems. February 20, 2012

More than a little unhappy I purchased these on the advice of a friend, thinking I was getting ink cartridges at a good price. I kept them until needed, which was in the middle of a print job which I was in a hurry to complete. When I opened the box and found that I had to refill the cartridges, I was extremely unhappy. I followed the instructions, thought the cartridge was full, replaced it; but it showed only about 1/5 full. I went on with my printing just to finish what I was doing. Now my printer is not producing the quality printing it was before. I immediately ordered a color CARTRIDGE from Dell so I wouldn't have the same experience again. I hope I haven't ruined my printer with this stupid refill kit. I think I'm going to order a black cartridge from Dell; the savings is just not worth the convenience and possible harm to my machine. Hopefully my friend will buy the unused ink from me. February 23, 2011
