  • Remanufactured Epson 252XL Set of 9 Ink Cartridges

    Q:

I notice there are several comments about these cartridges not working. I just bought an Epson 7610. Have you resolved the problem with this ink - printer compatibility?
Asked on 11/7/2015 by Mary from Pembina ND

    2 answers

    • A:

On a WF-3620 I tried two of the 252 CYN High Capacity carts. Both seemed to clog the print head after a little use. I had to run some Epson Ink through to clear the heads, I did not try the other two colors. Perhaps I just had a few bad ones. Returned them with no hassles and did not try the standard capacity carts yet.

The 252 HL Black cartridges seem to work fine for me. Now on second one and have not had any problems. One just plugged in and went, second had the non-Epson ink warning and hung up but after a power down and up the printer seems to be happy. The ink levels also show up. Will buy more of these.

  • Remanufactured HY 252XL 4 Piece Set of Ink for Epson

    Q:

Regarding your cartridges for the Epson WF-7620 printer

What kind of ink is in the cartridges? Dye, pigmented, Archival? The reason I ask is I have a clogged print head and want to use a kit to clean it and the compatibility of that kit:

"Compatible with all ink types except pigment, UV, solvent, light-fast, archival"

So I just need to know if that kit will work with your ink.

    Thanks,

    Pat
Asked on 6/27/2015 by Pat from San Jose, CA

    • A:

The ink cartridges are pigment based; the kit you are looking to purchase will not work.

My printer is new and I don't want to void any warranty by using a non-Epson ink cartridge
Asked on 3/24/2015 by JJ from NY

    1 answer

    • A:

Great Question! We are often asked this by potential customers and the answer is always NO. All manufacturers of printers lose money through the sale of their printer and attempt to make it back through the high prices sale of the cartridges. They will use several scare tactics to persuade customers to purchase their OEM/Brand new cartridges. It is against the law for them to void your warranty for using aftermarket items unless the manufacturer can prove that the compatible product caused direct damage to your printer. No company, associate, salesperson, or service technician can deny you service or warranty work that would otherwise be covered under a warranty program simply because you use a compatible product.

    Q:

252XL High Yield vs. 252 Standard

The 252 XL high Yield appears to be much wider than the Standard Cartridge. It does not look as if it would fit in the cartridge slot allotted to it.

    Why is this ???
Asked on 10/16/2014 by Jim from Florida

    1 answer

    • A:

That is a great question! The 252XL contains more ink than the standard 252 cartridge. We do have a compatible printer list underneath the cartridge specification box on our site. Please double check your printer model number to make sure it can fit the XL cartridge.

    Q:

What happens if the cartridge is not recognized in our printer?

We purchased a new Epson WF3640 for our office. We have used your ink many timespreviously and have no problems, but what happens if this printer does not recognize the ink? Can it be returned, and if so, who pays for return shipping, or do you just replace it or give a credit back to the credit card? Obviously the return shipping charge is not very cost effective if that is necessary. We use a lot of ink, so best to ask before we make the purchase.

Hopefully all will be good as it is in my other printer.

    Thank you

I was in a big box membership store the other day.
They wanted me to spend upwards of $50 on ink for my Epson Workforce all-in-one and take color carts I didn;t need/ A few months ago I ordered a bunch of color carts from LD and they have been working just fine, so I came back and boy am I glad I did!

At these prices, it doesn't pay to mess with refill kits or chip re-setters. LS is 5-stars with me.

Would like to have a full refund on this order since
the ink cartridge is no good. When I install into the
printer, it does show the ink level as max but when I print something out, the black part will be a total blank. Even how many time I do a nozzle cleanup, it just does not print black color.
I bought this printer a month ago and did not have these
kind of problem till I started using this ink cartridge so assuming its the cartridges fault.

Comments about Remanufactured HY 252XL 4 Piece Set of Ink for Epson:

The last 2 batches of ink that I purchased have been way below original quality.
The color red is the worst. I continually clean the printer head and have top do print head nozzle checks.
The black work ok but I have to resort to printing all in black because the colors perform poorly.
If I have more problems I'm thinking of opening every cartridge and returning all that don't work.
If u can omly use half you might as well use name brand.

Comments about Remanufactured Epson 252XL HY Black Inkjet Cartridge:

Purchased 252XL black, and colours. Black worked for a bit, but started streaking and faded. Then stopped working. Now, yellow and magenta are failing.
Replaced with genuine Epson cartridge and now works fine.

I would not recommend these cartridges for your Epson printer.

The reman 252XL black cartridge does NOT work on Epson WF

By Amish Traveler

Comments about Remanufactured Epson 252XL HY Black Inkjet Cartridge:

I purchased and installed first reman 252xl black cartridge. It did not work. Called tech support and went thru step by step actions. No print! They sent another cartridge. Went thru the same repeat process. Apparently, the printer recognizes the non Epson cartridge and will NOT print. At least that is the conclusion of the tech support and myself.

Must buy original cartridge!!!!!!

Extremly poor quality

By Jose

from San Antonio, TX

Verified Buyer

Comments about Remanufactured Epson 252XL HY Black Inkjet Cartridge:

Probably the worst decision I ever made was using ink from LD. The print quality is so poor (can hardly read anything in black) and it even clogged up the black print head. Now, even though the printer is under warranty, the manufacturer will not honor it because they blame the LD ink for clogging the print head so I need to spend 200+ dollars to get it fixed (all in the name of saving a few dollars by buying generic ink). Yeah, LD replaced the first 3 original black cartridges I bought, but the replacements were worst!! Now that I went back to the manufacturer supplied ink, black is readable but on pictures there are a lot of "voids" and after cleaning the print head a bunch of times, the quality on pictures is still very poor. To call it poor quality is an understatement as it clogged the print head!
