Followed instrucrions. Didn't work
Followed the directions to the letter and the cartridge leaked all over the place. Tried again with the rest of the kit and it leaked a little but did not print. No joy.

Your description of the HPI-9078C says it is for "HP 78 Black". Could be wrong there.

Easy HP Inkjet Color Refill
The procedure for refilling the ink cartridge is very easy and the quality of the ink is high. All of the parts necessary to do a quality refill job are included in the package and the instructins (in innumerable languages) are straightforward, if a little on the small side. The only thing that could use a little improvement is the plastic cartridge holder: The one I got doesn't hold the cartridge firmly enough to get a good seal to use the syringe that is included in the package to draw the required amount of ink through the printing head to clean the jets. Using HP's software to run the print head cleaning routine a few times took care of that.
Overall, a very good product. Prices are good and shipment arrived very quickly.

HP 78 Color Ink
As good as a brand new one at about a third the cost. This seller always ships right away too. I would not buy my ink from anyone else!!!

Printing Ink Bargain
You would like to print more pictures but because of the cost of ink cartridges you don't. Ink refill kits are the way to go! You can refill cartridges several times at 1/3 the cost of one new cartridge. I have been using refill kits for several years now on many HP model printers with excellent results. The kit directions are easy to follow and there are online instructions as well. One big key is to refill as soon as possible after you notice one color running out. If you wait too long after that the ink nozzles dry out / plug up and the cartridge will not work.

Easy to use
Instructions were clear, no problem with filling the cartridge. Little problem with over-fill and leakage, my fault. Would definitely use again.
