works great if you follow instructions
If you have HP printers you must have all HP software installed
and when the printer gives you a light... you must access the software and dismiss the message...light goes out.
Printer connected to computer, I use laptop on 3 of my HP just for this error
If you can not do this then you will have problem been using LD for 4 years now.

a bad nmatch for HP
Apparently HP has increased its war on after-market inks. Several colors and black consistently fail to work while still 1/2 or more full. A disturbing and expensive problem. I also had to replace a print head in my Officejet Pro 8500A Plus after only a year - not sure if that was related to the ink, but seems likely. I have used LD inks for years and have been happy. I assume the problem is increasing tinkering by HP.

Causes major printer malfuntion
The cartridge is the first in this near new printer that has not worked properly. Repeatedly causes "failure to print" prompt from printer software. The only remedy is to open and close the printer cartridge access door panel on the HP Officejet Pro 8500A
Neither of the refurbished magenta or yellow will read inklevel in the printer software monitoring system.. Get this to work before I buy more cartridges. Very disruptive to my business day.

good value for the product
my only negative is there is no chip in the cartridge to let you know
how much ink is in it. You don't know when you are going to run out of ink.
