  • Lexmark Remanufactured 701HK HY Black Toner

The cartridge has a page count of 4000. Is this coded in to the cartridge by LD. I ask because I have a OEM shipped with device cartridge that will not work in the printer because one shipped with device cartridge has already been used in the printer. After the toner in the LD cartridge is finished can i use the chip in the my OEM cartridge? Or is it a hard stop at 4000 pages.

Otherwise, do you sell just the chip.

This cartridge is meant for a one-time use. The chip cannot be reset or re-used.

I purchased these remanufactured toner cartridges. Can they be recycled? The cartridges did have not a return shipping label like the new cartridges I have purchased. Thanks, Mark

Yes, remanufactured cartridges may certainly be recycled. Please check out Green Hippo, a company that offers credit for recycling plenty of items. You may send them to us; however, we do not offer postage or credit. So recycling locally at Staples, Office Depot, or Best Buy is the best way to go!

Comments about Remanufactured Lexmark 701HY HY Yellow Toner 70C1HY0:

Being just one color of the 4 color laser printer, it can be difficult to judge exactly how this measures up. But we did print a small test and it did use yellow. I can say there was no difference in any color combination. I could not tell this was not an "official" Lexmark color toner. Now I still have three additional toners to put in eventually as the cartridges dry up, but if yellow is any indication, this is a 100% winner.
