InkTec inkjet cartridge refill kits allow you to refill your existing empty ink cartridge. Why buy a new or remanufactured ink cartridge when you can refill the cartridge you have for much less money? Each kit includes the ink, tools and instructions to refill your empty inkjet cartridge and get printing again quickly. It is always a good idea to refill cartridges that have just ran out of ink. You also shouldn't try to keep printing on an empty cartridge as it will burn out of the printheads on your ink cartridge. All inkjet cartridge print quality will eventually fade but by keeping your cartridge full of ink and printing regularly you should be able to get a few cycles with one cartridge before buying a new or remanufactured ink cartridge.

Page Yield (?) Page Yield is an approximation of the number of standard pages that can be printed with one cartridge, usually measured at 5% page coverage. 5% coverage is a standard 8.5 x 11 inch page with a light letterhead, address and three paragraphs of text double spaced. If you print mixed text and graphics or WebPages your page coverage is closer to 15% and therefore the number of pages printed with each cartridge will be less. If you are printing photos your page coverage is close to 100% and the number of printed photos will be much less than the amount the number of pages you would be able to print if you were just printing standard text documents. Price and Quality = Very Good I ordered only one unit and even w/the shipping ($4.95) it is a great value. Ordered Thur. morn. (4 am) = it arrived in the mail Fri. ! The directions for refilling are tiny - so u should go to InkTek.com and get the PDF. Already printing = no problems, except my printer still tries to tell me the cartridge is out of ink - maybe this will go away = I don't care. I have six empty cartridges and I could fill them all with the supply delivered. I 'm not going to do it though. I have stored the ink in a dark/cool spot for later. Follow the directions ! Once you have enlarged (hand-drilled out the ink ports = just leave them open. You don't need to put the Magenta/Yellow/Cyan) sticker on the cartridge = just remember which color goes where.
