Won't print reliably
I had a knee replaced shortly after the printer arrived so it's been 6 weeks since I set it up. The printer will not print without me opening top, reinserting paper every time. I haven't had time to call & see if there is any support on this item but it's frustrating!

Overall it is a very fast efficient printer
It is high speed cheap to operate and the quality is good. The only drawbacks are 1.) It starts giving a non stop error message when you are down below 20% of toner. A warning at 5% would be much less distracting.
2.) When you print over 30 copies they can at times fall all over the floor. A longer or wider stop bar would be helpful.
3.)t does not stop immediately when stop button is pressed. It still runs 3-5 more. Overall a good buy!

This printer is a great value.
I've only owned the Pantum P2010 for a few months, so I can't speak to its long-term quality or durability. But I can say that I've been very happy so far with the printer. I purchased it bundled with two toner cartridges for a very reasonable price. I'll go so far as to say that it was a rare and exceptional value.
I also purchased the printer on the promise of LD Products that they would soon offer a Linux printer driver for it. Finding good device drivers for Linux is still a bit of a challenge. So a low cost, high duty cycle laser printer that would work with both Windows and Linux was very appealing to me.
I would recommend this printer for home use and in a small office environment. It's not a high volume printer that you could put on a large network, but you could definitely share it among a few LAN users in a small office. And the PPP (price per page) cost is very low. I also like that the drum is being changed with each toner cartridge and I don't have to periodically pay for a separate drum assembly. Also, the drum being replaced with each toner cartridge keeps the print looking sharp without the annoying lines, spots, and blotches that normally occur as a printer's drum life wears down.
I rated the Pantum printer with 4 out of 5 stars. If the paper tray was covered rather than exposed I would have rated it with 5 stars. But because I have to remove the top sheet of paper and blow off any dust that may have settle on it--to prevent dust and debris from going inside--I feel that was a small oversight in the design. But that's just me and it may not be an issue to someone else.

The printer was easy to set up and the quality of the printing is excellent. I haven't had it long enough to see if it is the workhorse the product description claims it is.

I've only had this printer installed for a few days, so far it works as advertised. It does take a while to warm up and print the first page but the second page is immediate. It Seems to be a good value. The first laser printer I bought in 1989 cost $1,200, so $169 for a printer and extra cartridges is a bargin. I hope it lasts, only time and use will tell. It could use some different color schemes, lavender is not my color!
