I was really impressed with this set! Each dinosaur has some nice detailing and they are sturdy, yet lightweight enough for easy play. All five of our kiddos, ages 1 to 10, enjoy these dinosaur moms and babies. I love the fact that they are designed to stand freely as well. Overall, really impressed and we love them! *I received product in exchange for an honest blog review, however, we love this set so much that I wanted to leave a review here too.

My six year old grandson had a fun time playing on his with the dinosaur mommas and babies, but this activity does need adult interaction/involvement in order to be able to discuss and learn the information included in the Activity Guide. Not being a dinosaur expert myself, I would have to study up more on the subject to be able to offer meaningful assistance. I think a child who has a real interest in dinosaurs would find this resource to be very engaging and educational.

    Comments about Dinosaur Play Set:

This mammas and babies Dino set is bright and colorful. The Dinos are realistic yet friendly. The jumbo size makes them perfect for pretend play with action figures. The toys are very durable, but still feel like a soft plastic.
The set is great to demonstrate early math skills like comparing the Dinos to identity attributes that's are similar and different. Can also demonstrate sequencing, numbers, early addition & subtraction skills.

      Comments about Dinosaur Play Set:

These mom and baby dinos are oh-so-fun! My two girls loved playing with them and matching up each mom with baby over and over. They also enjoyed taking the babies and arranging them in their doll house. Although not recommended by the company, my girls brought the dinos in the bath and washing each one with soap. We had a great time with this new toy! I'd definitely recommend it.

My 4 year old son and his 6 year old friend had a great time with these dinosaurs! They came in a nice sturdy, colorful box that we will continue to store them in. The first time we used them, we read through the informational facts provided in the instructions. They were very educational but definitely something that required an adult to share with the kids as it is a full page of text. The boys really had fun with them after we finished the facts. They played several different games with them: the babies hide from the mommas, the dinosaurs chase down toy cars and family time in which they decided they wanted the adult dinos to be dads instead of moms. Their play lasted quite a long time. They dinos were a great size with great details and colors. They seem exceptionally sturdy yet aren't as hard as a rock. One of ours has a small defect in the plastic at the seem near his waist. They do have a very strong paint smell upon opening but it seems to have faded now.

These dinos are great fun - I even caught my 11 year old and 13 year old playing with them the other day!

I got the Jumbo Dinosaurs: Mommas & Babies set from Learning Resources for a gift for my nephew (3 years old) and I played with him and we had a good time. The dinos invite hours of imaginative play, inside and outside. The plastic dinosaurs are very durable and easy to clean. Now I have to buy a bag for him to carry them, since he wants to take them every where with him, to the park, to use on the road and to my house. Whoever wants to understand much must play much, so let's play.

            Comments about Dinosaur Play Set:

I ordered Jumbo Dinosaurs: Mommas & Babies and couldn't be happier. They came in a very sturdy box that I am also using to store them in. Playtime began as soon as I opened the box and unwrapped the dinosaurs. They are very well made and I love the different colors. My children, along with our neighbors children, love playing with these dinosaurs! Their ages range from 1 1/2 years to 10 years old. I see them playing with them alone and when they are all together. It is wonderful to see then use their imaginations while playing. Both boys and girls are playing with them and having a ton of fun. I love how durable they are. I would totally recommend this to everyone.

              Comments about Dinosaur Play Set:

I have a 2.5 year old son who LOVES dinosaurs, so he was so excited to open the box. He loved to show me what baby went with which mommy! He would hide the mommies from the babies & then match them all over again. It was great that the guide listed the names of the dinosaurs so I could share the name with him each time, to help remember the names, and as he gets older, there are some fun facts in there as well. He had enjoyed playing with them all together, or with other toys he has. The detail on each dinosaur is amazing compared to others out there- great colors. The only complaint I have is the seams on the bellies of the Dino's, the seam is really off.

I can't believe how cute and colorful these matching mommas and babies are. Pretty strong smell when they are first opened, if you let them air out and wipe them down, they are so fun to play with on a snow day. I bet these handle great in the sand and dirt, too.

                  Comments about Dinosaur Play Set:

You can't go wrong with these Dino moms and babies.I got this for my 7 yr old daughter but soon found my 10 yr old having a great time with them too. The description is true to what you get, 3 mommy dinos and 3 baby dinos. I found it great that the instruction pamphlet came with details about each dinosaur. It also included ideas on how to play with them. Don't worry about breaking them, since they are definitely made of durable plastic. I would say the only con is the smell of the plastic when you initially open this item. Other than that it is a great product.

                  Comments about Dinosaur Play Set:

My 3 year old daughter loves dinosaurs above all, more than princesses or cars. She was so excited to open this box and see baby dinosaurs along with their mommas. She immediately started imaginative play by forming dinosaur families. We have the original Jumbo Dinosaurs set as well, so she could name "Daddy T-Rex, Mommy T-Rex, Baby T-Rex." It provided a good teaching moment to explain different types of families using the dinosaurs.

The details in the paint work is incredibly realistic and add to the imaginative play. I also love the slightly soft but durable material. It can be easily wiped for cleaning. These are superior to any other dinosaurs I've seen.

When we took the dinosaurs out of their polybags, the paint/plastic smell was pretty strong. The smell lessened within a few hours, but each dinosaur has a tiny hole and when you squeeze the dinosaur you can smell the paint fume coming out of the hole. This hole also prevents the use in water (I.e. Bathtub) because if water gets inside, it will grow mold. I would resolve this by plugging the holes with a hot glue gun, but it would be nice if they came already plugged.

Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
                  Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers
                  Material Liquid ink Dry powder
How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
