I don't know if the product has changed but I adore the product I bought the other day. I don't own a dishwasher so handwashing dishes and pots and pans is a necessity. I've tried many soaps and some work better than others. Some smell good and some are just horrible smelling. Most are full of chemicals. This is the best of all worlds. It smells great. It works like a dream. Thank you!

I bought 7th generation, thinking it would be better than Dawn or Palmolive because it is more natural. Well, I had patch testing done because I was having atopic dermatitis and it revealed that I am allergic to Methylisothiazolinone. My dermatologist said that a lot more people are becoming allergic to this synthetic preservative. Seventh Generation - you should look into this!

Clean and not smelly!

By AEIV

from USA

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

As a lifelong user of Dawn dish soap, I was exceedingly wary of changing. However, the scent of the hand-saving Dawn would linger on my dishes, and it was too much for me. I tried this a few weeks ago, and have since bought a second bottle, because it works SO WELL. The dishes are literally squeaky clean, it foams well, and it leaves no scent at all on my dishes! Honestly, I could not be happier with a dish soap.

Never again.

By Kikyo

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

If there was an option to choose less than 1 star, I would. I bought this soap thinking I could be more eco-friendly and give my hands a break from all of the heavy chemicals. But this is such a let down. The soap does NOT foam and it does NOT get any grease out. I use triple the usual amount, but it feels like I'm just washing it with a sponge and no soap. In addition, it was a good $3 more expensive compared to the other brands that ACTUALLY work. Never again.

Terrible product

By Deanna0922

from Washington, United States

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

I purchased a bottle of this dish soap to try it out and I am highly dissatisfied with this product. I cooked a vegetable in butter and the soap would not cut through the grease. I had to resort to hand soap, my only option, to get my pan clean and not greasy. I'm at a loss now because the bottle is basically full. I wasted money on it and have to buy something else now. This most certainly does NOT cut through grease.

Cleans better than my baby bottle soap

By happpymommie

from McHenry, IL, United States

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

I freeze my breastmilk in containers and my babyganics dish soap won't clean out the residue I've washed them twice and still couldn't get them clean. Finally I washed them with Seventh Gen. free and clear and my bottles and containers look AMAZING completely clear and no residue. THANK YOU!! I did not want to throw out bottles and containers and have to buy new ones.

Great for Baby Bottles

By Raycholeleigh

from Jupiter, FL

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

I love that I have found a fantastic soap that cleans the milk residue from my baby bottles. I tried Babyganics and it was TERRIBLE. I don't know why I didn't change to this soap sooner, as I used it years ago with my oldest daughter. Now we use it for all our dishes.

They weren't kidding..

By lawyermom

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

They weren't kidding when they said the dishes would sparkle. (Preface: my husband LOVES dishwasher pods and since he does usually does the shopping that's what we've been using.) I've been buying more chemical-free products lately and have wanted to try 7th Generation for awhile now. I am so glad I did. When I unloaded the dishwasher I could not believe how sparkly/clear all of our dishes were! I don't think they were that clear when they came out of the original box.. The difference between this and the pods we usually use is insane. You definitely have a new customer!

A year or so ago, I wrote ...

By Barb

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

A year or so ago, I wrote you and complained about bottle you were then using--it was a poor design and it kept slipping out of my hand when it was wet and spilling on the kitchen floor. Even though my husband said my floor was the cleanest it had ever been, I was not happy. You said you were working on a new style, and I have recently bought a bottle. I am so pleased with it and now I won't have to change brands as I was ready to do. Also, I really like the Free and Clear. My dishwasher is temporarily out of order and the Free and Clear is easy on my hands as I wash dishes! All in all, you did good!

Bad stuff

By Eddie

from Evanston, Wyoming

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

Do not buy this product. It has two synthetic preservatives ending in ...zolinone. I for one a so allergic to these substances I can break out for up to eight weeks with just one exposure. Natural preservatives should be used n products labels Free and Clear. This is not Free and Clear.

Love the scent and it works great!

Comments about Seventh Generation Dish Cleaner - 1 per carton:

This dish liquid really cuts grease with using very little soap and the scent is so fresh! We also use the lavender, which is also beautifully scented! Great products!
