We were up to five dogs in our home. We had our seven grandchildren all at the same time for anywhere from 3 to 5 days for a visit. We had air mattresses, sleeping bags and the dogs that always kept watch over them when sleeping or playing. I had to swifter frequently due to some had asthma or allergies and my home needed to be as clean as possible for them. Swifter was a quick solution for keeping floors clean. Even the kids loved using it. Love my Swifter!!!

Why would you sell the XL for dry and wet and not sell wet cloths size XL ?? My XL kit came with dry and wet small cloths, I was not able to use any of it. I am unable to return the product tp the store and now I'm stuck with something I cannot even use. I tried using 2 small wet and it does not work at all! i tried the same with the dry ones, and they all keep coming off. Completely absurd.

Who in corporate approved such a dumb move?

By NCGuy

from Charlotte, NC

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

Seriously? No XL size wet pads for the XL size Swiffer??? Using two regular size wet pads is terrible. Did corporate not even do a little research in the field? I feel mislead in my purchase.

Need the XL size wet pad

By SwampThing

from Orlando, FL

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

I'll join the many voices asking for the XL-size wet pad. I bought this to help me save time at a rental. I compared the size of the wet pads in the kit with the XL's I thought "who in P&G thought going to market without offering a wet pad specifically for the XL was a good idea?" I rigged two wet pads side-by-side. That is not a solution! One keeps falling off. I'm not stupid. This is!

No wet pads? Total deal breaker!

By Nutszmom

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

I absolutely do not recommend this product unless you have no intention to use it as a mop. Ridiculous.

No large wet pads?!?

By Harold

from South Florida

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

The dry sweeper worked great but how does a company sell a "kit" with pads that don't work for the mop. You can't even get the large wet pads? Pretty embarrassing for a company like this.

If I had known

By Cora

I've been looking and looking for the extra large mopping refills..than I read the reviews and quickly found out they aren't even available...what total stupidity to make a product and not the refills.

Don't Buy

By Sunset094

from Wisconsin

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

I have been using two pads that are difficult to keep on. Since they refuse to make an XL pad, I will throw away and buy a different brand. Why make a product if you are not going to make the needed supplies.

No XL wet cloths refills available

By Marym74

from Texas

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

I thought I could sweep and mop quickly and efficiently with the XL. Imagine my disappointmentI to discover there are no wet refills of the proper size. Just use two of the smaller size says the company. Very disappointed that this product does not have these available. I will probably just return it.

Swiffer Sweeper X-large starter kit

By nascardan

from NY, New York

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

How in the world can a company get away with selling a product without having the proper size wet mop refills. They should take it off the market until they have a wet mop refill because using 2 of the smaller ones is a ridiculous solution as they keep falling off. I thought this would make mopping easier but clearly it does not and just makes it way more expensive.

NOT HAPPY WITH REFILL OPTIONS!

By Swiffergirl

from Pensacola, Fl

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

I love to use the wet refills on my regular size Swiffer. I was excited to purchase the XLSwiffer but was so disapointed the refills did not fit properly. It is a waste of time to use 2 small refills. This is not rocket science. JUST MANUFACTURE THE PROPER SIZE WET REFILL! Do the right thing and complete the product line to accomodate your Swiffer sizes and refills...dry and WET!

Don't like not having a XL wet mop cloth

By SwifferDisser

from Atlanta GA.

Comments about Swiffer Sweeper Dry Cloths Refill:

Poor product with no good solution. I would love to return it. P&G wants us to use two wet mop cloths which adds cost and using two cloths is not very easy. One of the wet cloths always comes loose from the unit.

Cartridge Comparison Guide
  • Cartridge Types
  • Ink & Toner Basics
  • Number of Pages & Shelf Life
Cartridge Type
Genuine or OEM (Original) Cartridges Remanufactured Cartridges Compatible Cartridges
Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers
Material Liquid ink Dry powder
How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
