How do I change the HP Envy Pro 6452 ink?
- Make sure your printer is powered on.
- Lift the top of the printer or the scanner unit and then wait for the ink cartridge tray to stop moving.
- HP Envy Pro 6452 printers use HP 67 black and tricolor cartridges. Remove whichever HP 67 cartridge you wish to replace by pressing down gently on the cartridge to release it. Pull the ink cartridge out of its slot. Set old cartridge aside for recycling.
- Unwrap packaging on the new 67 ink cartridge. Remove the plastic tape. Note: Once you remove the plastic tape, you cannot put it back on.
- Don’t touch the gold contacts or the nozzles. Touching them can result in ink failure or error messages.
- Insert the new 67 cartridge at a slight upward angle into the empty slot. Push until it clicks into place.
- Close the scanner lid.
