If they are not on the same network, they will not be able to communicate with each other!<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that your printer is compatible with HP ePrint, HP&#8217;s cloud-based printing service that lets you print from anywhere with an internet connection.\u00a0 Look for the HP ePrint icon on your printer&#8217;s display, a small image that looks like a printer printing out a sheet of paper.\u00a0 If it is an option on the display screen, you printer will work with HP ePrint.\u00a0 If your printer does not include a display screen, you&#8217;ll need to check your printer manual to confirm that your printer is HP ePrint compatible.\u00a0 Most newer model HP printers should work with ePrint.\u00a0 If you have an older printer that&#8217;s not compatible with ePrint, unfortunately you won&#8217;t be able to print with Alexa.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ldproducts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/hp-eprint.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6785\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ldproducts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/hp-eprint.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"688\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Download and enable the HP Printer skill on your Alexa app or on the Amazon website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">To find the printer skill in the Alexa app, navigate to the &#8220;skills and games&#8221; tab in the app.\u00a0 Then, search for &#8220;HP Printer&#8221; and select &#8220;enable to use&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ldproducts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/hp-printer-skill-alexa.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6679\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ldproducts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/hp-printer-skill-alexa.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"442\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You can find the Alexa skill on Amazon by searching for &#8220;HP Alexa skill&#8221; in the Amazon search bar.\u00a0 Select the HP icon and click &#8220;enable&#8221; to activate the skill on your Alexa device.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ldproducts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/hp-printer-skill-amazon.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6680\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ldproducts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/hp-printer-skill-amazon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"318\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. When you enable the skill, Alexa will ask you for your printer\u2019s email address. There are a couple ways to find this address.\u00a0 First, you can find the printer email address by printing out the printer information page on your printer.\u00a0 Since every printer is designed differently, you may need to consult your printer manual to figure out how to do this.\u00a0 Newer printers with a display screen should feature that same HP ePrint icon we mentioned earlier.
