My four year old daughter loves to build with anything and everything she can get her hands on. You can bet when I presented her with this set, that she was extremely overjoyed and bubbling with happiness.

This Candy Set is ideal for building all sorts of candy structures that develop skills in your child such as challenging them to to follow instruction. I like that there are full color illustrated instructions in the included manual that demonstrate what pieces they'll need from the set to make things like a car, swing, and a house to name a few. But this set isn't limited to just those things, children can then be encouraged to think up and create their own personal masterpieces!

Ninety-two pieces of various candy are included in this set. There's plenty to go around and would be fun for more than one child to share and use at the same time. I found the pieces to be quiet durable and are sized perfectly with their chunky weight and colorfully sweet shades of red, green, orange, yellow, purple, and chocolate!

My daughter could easily put pieces together and take them apart with no trouble. The set is really durable and that something I appreciate in any sort of product made for children to play with. She loves playing with this set and discovering what interesting new things she can make up to show everyone! I asked her thoughts and she said it was really fun to play with and that she loves having something other than just blocks to use to build things.

Overall, we all really adore the Candy Building set. It's great for developing fine motor skills as well as thinking up new things in a fun exploratory way! If you have a child that loves to build as much as mine, you'll most definitely want to think about purchasing this really neat set for them too!

Would never recommend this product. Maybe kids may have enjoyed it at age 2-3 for the colour but if you think your kids could actually build anything forget it. The pieces don't stick together at all. Unless you use glue all you have is a big box of colourful plastic and disappointed kids.

Comments about Learning Resources Sum Swamp Addition & Subtraction Game:

WE love the word construction, my son is using it to build 3-4 letter words, my only down point in that there is letters missing, there isn't a "w" or a "j', will have been nice to have those letters on the bolt.

Comments about Learning Resources Sum Swamp Addition & Subtraction Game:

My daughter loves this game. She has struggled so much with even the simplest of math problems and tended to overthink them. She doesn't even give it any thought now
and rattles off the answers to whatever problem in rolled. Very cute game.

Comments about Learning Resources Sum Swamp Addition & Subtraction Game:

This has been a really great game for our family. We've got two struggling math brains and Sum Swamp is great for helping them get the basics down.

There is a loop you can get caught in, but I've found an easy way to get out is to just eliminate the rule that requires an exact roll. However, our kids just stay in the loop and continue to practice - at some point we've made it out just a bit sharper than we started.

Overall, I would recommend this product for learners and those who are struggling.

It's a great way to keep the family learning together!

Comments about Learning Resources Sum Swamp Addition & Subtraction Game:

We bought this for our Pre-K students. It's frustrating as the pieces don't stick together securely so the things students try to create fall apart. We tried to build the Yummy Buggy, which is the first example in the booklet and it doesn't even stay together. Not pleased with this product.

The children were excited to see the bright colours of this building set but that is where the excitement ended. The pieces do not stay together when attempting to construct the toys in the booklet. The green and blue connectors, the chocolate panels and the bendy twists do not snap/hold together which makes building frustrating and a HUGE disappointment.

Comments about Learning Resources Sum Swamp Addition & Subtraction Game:

My almost 5 year old plays this game at least 3-5 times a day. He plays with myself, my husband, and even will play by himself. When we first got the game, we used his fingers, and our fingers to show him how to add and subtract, but didn't talk at all about the evens and odds stones.

Now that he's comfortable with the addition and subtraction, and is starting to know some of the answers without having to count, we've introduced evens and odds to him. He doesn't even know he's learning!

My Special Education 7th & 8th graders love it! We added some of our own rules, they loved doing this. For example: when you land on a number, you roll only one dice & multiply the number you landed on by the number you rolled. We also keep track of how many times each one wins, comes in second & rolls zero. When you roll zero you have to go back to start.
Excellent way for my students to learn their facts while having fun.

Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
                      Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers
                      Material Liquid ink Dry powder
How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
