I have used quite a few lint rollers as we have 5 cats and two people in the house who work retail that needs to constantly delint their clothes and also remove the cat hairs, including the clothing covered in fur the night before we wear it as part of my evening prep routine. We find this particular lint roller to be among the best available as they are very sticky. It's nice to have a sticky tape that does not stick to the clothing so bad that the roller unwraps itself while using it. This tape works great for animal hair removal which is the main thing we use it for. I also like to use it to assist me in cleaning the car, it works great on the carpeted rear dash where it is hard to reach. And then I will also put a piece on my hand and reach down between the seats and tap the floor with it and it does a great job of catching all of the stuff the vacuum can't reach. I really love the fact that there are as many sheets as there are on each roll, They sure are much less expensive than buying them at the local store. And then to top it off their offered in a 5 pack! I will continue to keep buying these sticky tape rolls as they are quite sticky and do a wonderful job! Again I must reiterate that having so many sheets on one roll (95) is really nice, this makes these 5 packs last so long! We have also used these by attaching a sheet to a yardstick and reaching behind the clothes dryer to obtain dropped items like socks, or under the curio and fridge or oven to get lost cat toys etc. ;)

So let me start by saying that I have a dog and she sheds. The Scotch-Brite Lint Roller came at a perfect time to test since the hot weather is exacerbating the shedding. I love my dog, but not all of the fur she leaves on the floor, furniture, and me. I have used lint rollers before when I had a cat and find most of them to be very similar with varying degrees of stickiness. This brand of lint roller is pretty sticky and does a decent job of removing the majority of fur and hair off of clothing using only one sheet. As far as peeling the used sheet off and disposing of it without peeling off more than one sheet, that posed a challenge as it sort of stuck to itself in a weird way. That may have just been operator error since I have encountered this using other lint rollers as well. This was a pretty standard product and I might purchase it if it was less expensive than other lint rollers. It did help remove most of the dog fur and also some grass that was stuck to me, so it works as advertised. I don't believe its anything particularly new or special. I received this product free from PINCHme in exchange for my honest feedback.

Comments about Scotch-Brite Lint Roller:

Works well and does not come off the roll while using-I know that's weird to say however my previous roll (another brand) would stick to my clothes and begin rolling off the roll. I guess it wasn't sticky enough on the roll to stick to itself.

Comments about Scotch-Brite Lint Roller:

I have both cats and dogs with long and short hair. I received a sample Scotch-Brite Lint Roller from Pinchme. I wear black pants to work at a doctor's office. I feel sometimes that I am constantly trying to get the hair off of my pants and patients look at me if I can't. I have brought the roller to work to help out. It does an amazing job with the long hair. It does good with the short hair, but not as good. I only have to use one sheet a day to clean my pants. It is sticky enough to get the hair off but not too sticky that it leaves a residue behind.

Comments about Scotch-Brite Lint Roller:

I originally got the scotch-bright lint roller sample to see if it stands up to animal hair. And I have to gush, it absolutely does. One a surprised as how much hair it held on only one sheet!! I was getting ready to go to work, and mind you my uniform is all black, my animals all knew I was leaving and piled on top of me. I was covered with hair! The scotch-bright lint roller worked so well that I went to the store and bought quite a few! Thank you!

Comments about Scotch-Brite Lint Roller:

I received a free sample of a Scotch-Brite Lint Roller from PINCHme and it works great. I've never really noticed a huge difference between brands of lint rollers before but I would say that with this Scotch-Brite one, the sheets are really easy to tear off so you're not stuck trying to peel off a dirty sheet for 10 minutes. And each sheet picks up a lot so you don't need to waste as many.

Comments about Scotch-Brite Lint Roller:

Scotch-Brite's Lint Roller definitely was up to the task of removing our cat's white, long hair! She tends to leave hair EVERYWHERE, and it's always a hassle to get our clothes hair-free before leaving for work. This lint roller did the job!

Cartridge Comparison Guide
  • Cartridge Types
  • Ink & Toner Basics
  • Number of Pages & Shelf Life
Cartridge Type
Genuine or OEM (Original) Cartridges Remanufactured Cartridges Compatible Cartridges
Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers
Material Liquid ink Dry powder
How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
