I've used the "Pure and Clear" for sometime now, today when I purchased a new bottle, I noticed that the cap has changed from a pull up open to a flip up open. This is all fine, but the product also has a cloudy sediment at the bottom. I asked the store manager about this, he said you just need to "shake it up" !
He "shook it up" but the product is now cloudy. The name of the soap is "Pure and Clear" is not clear anymore, or is this a bad batch ?

I've use Palmolive dish soap for many, many years. But recently, I decided to try to the 'Pure and Clear'...because I've recently developed a slight chemical sensitivity. I use 'free and clear' laundry detergent and softeners, for this reason. (and my husband and I both have sensitive skin). But to be honest, this 'Pure and Clear' dish soap of yours in not as advertised! The bottle reads 'no unnecessary ingredients' and 'no heavy fragrances'. NOT TRUE!! The fragrance is overpowering! Unfortunately, I bought the large bottle, and I'm not one that throws out or wastes....so, I will use this bottle 'til it's gone. But, I won't be buying it again. Unless of course, you do remove the fragrance ingredient. I never had a problem with the fragrance of the regular/original product. Okay, I just wanted to do this review and give you my opinion - as a consumer. Thank you for your time.

Comments about Palmolive Ultra Pure/Clear Dish Liquid:

Purchase this product because it is labeled Pure+Clear - no unnecessary ingredients - no heavy fragrance.
Husband has eczema & been advised to avoid dyes, I'm allergic to scents - as much as gagging & vomiting. This is so heavily fragranced I cannot use it. Please take out the scent.

Very disappointed. "No strong fragrance" it says on the package. It is heavily scented. Almost impossible to rinse the scent off your dishes.

Comments about Palmolive Ultra Pure/Clear Dish Liquid:

A good concept but it misses the mark. A product labeled "Pure" and Clear should be fragrance-free. Hasn't your research hasn't shown that dish washing detergents with heavy fragrances impart that smell to plastics and some non-stick cooking surfaces? Consumers who want fragrance-free detergents must purchase environmentally friendly products that, in some cases, don't offer the cleaning power of a recognized brand.

Comments about Palmolive Ultra Pure/Clear Dish Liquid:

I selected this dish washing liquid because it stated it was hypoallergenic and non-irritating dyes since I know I have allergies to perfumes and chemicals at time. I wanted to try Palmolive as a new brand and after using it for one day with multiple uses since I was baking cookies I had an allergic reaction with hives and burning sensation on skin.

I bought this product because I am allergic to strong fragrances and this product says "No Heavy Fragrances" but to me it IS heavy and even to my husband who is not allergic. It caused my eyes to sting and burn badly! I also wondered why the ingredients are not shown on the bottle as I am trying to figure out what chemicals are causing my eye and respiratory issues. I have thrown this product away, and will not purchase any other product that does not list it's ingredients.

Comments about Palmolive Ultra Pure/Clear Dish Liquid:

I made the mistake of buying three big bottles of this without having tried it before because it was on sale and I had coupons. The scent is SO STRONG, especially since it is advertised as having "nothing extra". It not only smells while I'm washing the dishes, but it perfumes my hands so that they smell like the dish detergent long after. It literally stinks to eat anything after; I don't want to smell dish soap perfume every time I use my hands to put food into my mouth. I will not ever buy this again, not even for free. Please save your canned response to call the 800 number that I saw after all the other reviews. Instead, seriously consider removing fragrance from something called "Pure and Clean" "with no heavy fragrances".

I completely agree with another consumer's comment. The fragrance is overpowering, even though the label says "no heavy fragrances." Not only that, but a tiny amount of Pure + Clear generates so many suds that you can't see the dishes, but there's no indication that this hot tub-like quantity of foam does anything to get dishes cleaner. Keep it simple, Palmolive--Madge would be very, very angry with you!

Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
                          Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers

How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
