It is very important to keep our wood floors clean in our home - especially since we have a toddler who is always playing on the floor! We have tried just about every product and nothing worked as effectively as our Scotch Brite Hardwood Floor Duster! We've used just about every product on the market and sure they cleaned dust we could see - but what about the germs and dirt we can't see? This Hardwood Floor Duster picked up a horrific amount of dirt and grime the first time we used it - "But... we JUST cleaned the floors yesterday?!?! How is this possible? Why is there so much dirt?!?!" - Apparently our old products were NOT doing the job. This is a GREAT PRODUCT - we are SO glad to have found a product that does more than anticipated. Now we can trust our sons health and safety while playing on the floor. We are so relieved and owe it all to Scotch Brite!

I love the microfiber floor mop, but i don't quite understand this comb thing...I used it on my microfiber cloth today and the spiky side seems to want to tear the fibers itself and the flat, almost squidgy looking side doesn't do anything at all!! why would u give me this crazy tool?

Hardwood floor mop*****

Comments about Scotch-Brite Hardwood Floor Mop Refill:

This is the greatest product I've ever used on my floors. I sweep with it, then damp mop in no time. I also use it for deep cleaning. It holds the pet hair, dust an dirt when sweeping, and this is easily put in the trash. I've had others catch me using it and want to know where I got it! They are as impressed as I am. Love the fact that it has square corners to clean like a room is made. Thank you for a great product! I use it daily in a house with all solid surface floors. Now I need refills!

Comments about Scotch-Brite Hardwood Floor Mop Refill:

This product is such an outstanding and useful household item! It makes dusting and mopping with the same unit . Just take the pad off, clean it in fresh water or wash it in the washer machine and you're ready to mop! Excellent for vinyl or laminate floors. Easy to manipulate through and under furniture! Love it

Floor Cleaner

Comments about Scotch-Brite Hardwood Floor Mop Refill:

I am from India, recently shifted to US on assignment. When we were in India I used to clean the house with Conventional broom stick, But here no other choice I have to go only with the floor mop. Initially I was little hesitant to use it because worried about it's efficiency, but after start using it I have noticed that it could able to clean even fine dust particles and reaches all sides and corners. I am very much satisfied. Thanks to Scotch-brite.

Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop

Comments about Scotch-Brite Hardwood Floor Mop Refill:

I was very impressed the first time I used my Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop. Most mops tend to push the lint around, then leave it for me to pick up. This mop actually trapped the lint and I was able to take it outside and shake it off. Great Hardwood Floor Mop :)

Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop

By Melleny

from Houston, Texas

Comments about Scotch-Brite Hardwood Floor Mop Refill:

Love the microfiber. My house is 99% wood floors. I have used many products on my wood floors. Some leave residue, some don't reach, some are cheap, etc. etc. This mop is awesome and does the job. It grabs left over dust, dirt and leave a perfect shine. Not a high gloss shine a healthy clean shine. Use it with mop in glow wood floor cleaner. i also use it on my tile and works great.

Microfiber Hardwood Floor Mop

from Northwest Illinois

Comments about Scotch-Brite Hardwood Floor Mop Refill:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product!!! I have had both knees replaced and am not able to get on my knees to clean my hardwood floors. This product has solved my problem beautifully. In the past, I've had to "borrow" my daughter's knees to do this task. She has always done it for me cheerfully, but I know it's not easy for her to get here. She is busy too with a growing family and lives several miles from us. Now that I can do the floors myself--when she can come over--we can spend time doing fun things together rather than cleaning floors. Thanks for one more time-saving idea!!

Cartridge Comparison Guide
  • Cartridge Types
  • Ink & Toner Basics
  • Number of Pages & Shelf Life
Cartridge Type
Genuine or OEM (Original) Cartridges Remanufactured Cartridges Compatible Cartridges
Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers
Material Liquid ink Dry powder
How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
