LD Products Carves Pumpkins for a Cause!

The O.C. Guts pumpkin carving competition took over Costa Mesa on Monday night, and LD Products’ design team was a part of the action. Twelve talented design teams from around the area participated in this amazing event benefiting Make-a-Wish Orange County and Inland Empire.  Prior to the competition, every team ran their own fundraising campaign for the non-profit, with all of the proceeds going towards granting the wishes of medically eligible children in Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.  The event was the first of its kind in Southern California and was even promoted by Good Day LA on their morning broadcast!

Teams were allotted 90 minutes to furiously carve a pumpkin of their choosing, while guests enjoyed music, refreshments and some festive face painting. Pumpkins went up for silent auction immediately after the carving and a team of local creative professionals judged each entry.  As the votes were being tallied, Make-a-Wish put together a great presentation highlighting the lives they’ve touched through their non-profit work. At the end of the evening, auction winners were announced and awards were given out to the top pumpkins of the night.  Congratulations to our team, Studio LD, for their first place win!  It was a wonderful community event and LD Products was incredibly proud to be part of such a meaningful cause.  Thank you to Make-a-Wish and all of the businesses, volunteers and participants that helped make it happen!
