For the tenth year in a row, LD Products was named to the prestigious Circle of Excellence by Bizrate Insights®, a division of marketing solutions firm Connexity® and one of the largest sources of customer-generated online reviews in the US. Earning this award once is certainly a prize but getting it for a full decade is an achievement, especially when you consider how much the world has changed since then (for example, the most popular cell phones looked like this the first year we won).
The 2015 Circle of Excellence prize was awarded to 187 online retailers, representing the top 4.6 performers in BizRate’s North American network of retailers. In their words, the awards “recognize retailers that received outstanding online customer satisfaction scores in the past year as rated by millions of verified online buyers.” The standards are fairly rigorous, assembled for more than 5000 websites using the data from over 27 million customer reviews from across the US and Canada. The “creme de la creme” of online retailers are awarded the Platinum award, which was given to 83 websites this year. Platinum level winners represent the top 1.7% of retailers in 2015. In order to go Platinum, a retailer needs to receive at least a 9.0 rating out of 10.0 for seven key customer satisfaction metrics:
- Overall satisfaction
- Product selection
- On-time delivery
- Ease of search
- Repurchase intent
- Product met expectations
- Customer service
