Jam-o-matic
I purchased the high-yield, NON-OEM version of the cartridge and got so frustrated, I threw it out and bought an OEM unit from the Staples down the street. The cartridge would repeatedly jam on almost every print job, especially if you used a higher quality, heavier weight paper. And when the cartridge did print, it left these light roller "streaks" that just looked awful. I couldn't use it to make printouts that I could send out to anyone, let alone make printouts to use, say, in a meeting.

Good ink, but sub-par consumption of it
I've used LD Products toners for my Samsung printer for over a year. They work, they print well -- that part is all good.
My unhappiness stems from two facts I've closely watched since before using these. How many pages does the toner cartridge actually print, and how much toner is left in the cartridge when the printer calls it totally empty. The LDs fall flat on both counts.
I consistently get only 2500-2900 page prints out of these cartridges with a stated capacity of 5000. Granted what I print has a page density of more than 5%. But it does not approach 50%, which would be half a page in pure black. Sorry, they simply do not have the capacity they state.
Further, the LD cartridges cease working when there is still 10-14% of the toner remaining in the cartridge. This figure is reported by the Samsung print manager software, and indicates to me that, again, the full stated capacities of these cartridges can never be realized.
So while the price of the LDs is much less than the OEM cartridges, to a large extent you are only getting what you pay for. And much of the apparent savings is illusory.
Buyer beware.

Not worth it for price paid, the quality is bad
My current 5000 pages cartridge was a replacement of an original order that didn't even work at all. This one didn't even last 1000 pages when black ink start fading, and messing out my whole print jobs. The printer is now destroyed. It started jamming/smudging due to the opening/closing to shake the toner cartridge. We can't use it any more because every page that comes out is almost blank. I am afraid to buy another toner because the printer might not even work all together.

Excellent product
By no means is this the first time I've used this toner cartridge. I can say for sure since I purchased this Samsung ML-2851dn back about '07 I've gone through 3 without a single problem. Its now on its 4th! The quality of this product matches the more expensive toner cartridge from Samsung in every way. Why pay more?

Good quality and value
I have used several of these replacement cartridges - they go on forever and ever and so I forget to order the next one when they get low. Shake them a few times when they get low and you get many more copies out of them. I think I order one about every 6 months and my kids do a lot of printing with debate research and briefs. The printer is used on a home network to about 6 computers. They are easy to insert into the printer and easy to remove and shake as well. The last toner cartridge had some toner leakage, I assume this was from shipping which spilled inside my printer and made a small mess (never had that happen before). Despite the little leakage on the last one, I am very satisfied with product and have referred several friends to LD Products for their printing needs.
