Noticed a difference between OEM & this
Just got my Xerox Phaser 6500n and soon ran low on toner (they say starter toner good for 1k pages - more like 300 if you have photos). I was printing 150 funeral booklets for a deceased friend. His photo was large on front of ltr size folded. Also had a light screened image on back that faded to 0%. Photo and screen looked great with OEMs... ran out of Magenta, replaced with LD compatible and photo looked terrible and banding on screen. After a lot of fooling with settings and modifying photo in Photoshop, finally got photo to look pretty good. Screen still banded so I removed that photo. Bottom line: first results not as good as OEM. If OEM rated 10, LD would be 5 or 6. But I am not going to pay $115 for a cartridge. $19 vs $115 = I'll settle for less and try and compensate with fiddling with settings. For normal use this is a great deal. If you need true color for images, be forewarned, you may be disappointed.
