I wrote the review "I would love to love this" which I have pasted below. After the review someone from the company responded and the sent me a replacement. I think it is awesome that a company is willing to do that and I am so excited to get to use the Eggspert again. Because of this I am changing my recommendation to a "yes I would recommend" and will be looking to get things from this company again since I know they stand behind their products.

Original Review:
I had used the wired eggspert for years and was happy to upgrade to the wireless version. I received the unit halfway through last year and it worked well. This year I went to use it and the teacher remote won't work. Without that, the system is useless. I'm not sure what happened to the remote since it was working fine the last time.

I use the wireless eggspert and it has been VERY FRUSTRATING, it doesn't seem to get the signal from the eggs or the remote. Students had to press the eggs many times before it lights up, if even does it at all. Does things when you have not touch the eggs or the remote.
It is very expensive product that doesn't do his job at all.
I want to smash it against the wall sometimes.

Comments about Wireless Eggspert 2.4gHz:

I loved the wired version and was so happy when a wireless version came out. I bought two for our Family and Consumer Sciences department for review games. Unfortunately both games the 3 of the buzzers quit working. I'm so disapointed. the students love using this, and so do I. I wish it was more durable.

Comments about Wireless Eggspert 2.4gHz:

I use the wireless eggspert as an exciting and unexpected tool for adult training sessions and they love it! Easy way to add gamification and fun to an otherwise boring training.

I'd been using it for two years and suddenly, on the same day, two of the buzzers broke - purple and orange. Sadly, that means I can only use wheel of fortune model from now on, and it is not quite as fun as participants using the buzzers. Tried to buy replacements or get them fixed, but that's not possible. I don't think I'll be using it again.

I received mine yesterday and used it today for a skills review. We found the blue buzzer did not work. I thought it was the batteries, so I replaced them. It still was not working. Is there a way for me to get a replacement?

    Comments about Wireless Eggspert 2.4gHz:

I am a teacher. My current role is a Reading Specialist. My Wireless Eggspert is my 3rd Eggspert purchase. My first 2 were with wires. I had two because I wanted my interns and parent volunteers to be able to use them and it was a special reward during inside recess sometimes!

Anyway, I was thrilled when the wireless version came out. It really keeps my small group table neater. However, 2/6 buttons no longer work. I've changed the batteries multiple times. It is very frustrating to have them working, and then not. My students ask for them, but it isn't the same to only play the "wheel of fortune" mode and not the "quiz show" mode.

I'm just very disappointed. The warranty is limited and buying replacement buttons is very expensive.

I use this product in my classroom to do trivia to review for tests and quizzes. I had no issues, but then the pink buzzer broke. I replaced the batteries, and it still does not work. Is there any way to get a replacement buzzer?

            Comments about Wireless Eggspert 2.4gHz:

I use this product in my high school classes. I told my students that they must be EXTREMELY careful with the buzzers. Even after saying this and observing them being delicate with them, after one session two buzzers stopped working. I replaced the batteries, tried moving them closer, restarted everything, but nothing happened. The main tower also does not light up the broken buzzers 'eggs' when using 'wheel of fortune' mode. I'm really disappointed. I wanted to use this throughout the year, but right now I'm frustrated that I spent so much on it.

Hi! I have buy the Wireless eggsperts and my student very love them. Last week, i want to use the Wireless and i realise that he dont work. I open the eggspert before the teacher remote (like you said in the guide), but all the light open and never close. The week before, my orange button (the button for student) doesn't work, and i only can use 5 buttons. Do you think that the orange button it's the reason why nothing work now? My students are very sad that we can't play anymore. Thanks for your answer!

I use this for my "Fabulous Quiz Show" and have lots of success. The only negative is the lasting quality of the pods, or buzzers. The purple one is already broken. We use them quite a bit, though, and the purple buzzer was broken after another teacher borrowed the set. I plan on buying an extra set to have ready replacements. Perfect for the use and I think priced for the value.

Description OEM stands for original equipment manufacturer, meaning the cartridge was made by the same company that made your printer. Original brand cartridges are very reliable and sometimes the only option if your printer is new to market or uncommon. Remanufactured ink is a genuine brand cartridge that has gone through one cycle of use. After use, the cartridge is recycled, acquired by a remanufacturing facility and put through a rigorous professional refurbishing process. During the refurbishing process the cartridge is disassembled, thoroughly cleaned and tested for quality. It's then carefully refilled, tested again and brought back to life. Buying remanufactured prevents one less cartridge from ending up in a landfill. A compatible cartridge is a brand new ink cartridge built by a manufacturer other than your printer. It's like buying the generic version of the genuine brand. Most are uniquely designed to differentiate from genuine cartridges. Despite any structural difference you may notice, the cartridge will still fit in your machine and print a full yield, just like the original brand.
Price Factors Many printer manufacturers follow the razor-and-blades business model which may result in higher priced genuine cartridges. Remanufactured ink is much cheaper than the original brand ink. It's far more cost effective to refurbish a previously used cartridge than create a new OEM from scratch. Compatible ink is much cheaper than the original brand. Compatible suppliers don't have to worry about the additional costs that hinder OEMs like new printers or firmware, which lets them keep prices low.
Quality Original cartridges work extremely well and are covered under a warranty by the printer manufacturer High quality remanufactured ink will match the quality of the original, but not all remanufactured ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results. High quality compatible ink will match the quality of the original, but not all compatible ink is created equal. Make sure you buy from a reputable supplier in order to get the absolute best results.
What's the difference between ink and toner cartridges?
                  Ink Cartridges Toner Cartridges
Printer Type Work with inkjet printers Work with laser printers
                  Material Liquid ink Dry powder
How it works Inkjet printers use a series of nozzles that spray tiny drops of ink directly on the print suface Laser toner printers use static electricity and heat to bond dry toner powder to a page
Commonly used by Casual home users, small business and photographers Large businesses and schools
Number of Pages You Can Print A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.
Cartridge Warranty and Shelf Life Most ink and toner cartridges include a warranty or "best by" date on their box. Remanufactured and compatible ink cartridges can last 12-18 months unopened, and toner cartridges can last up to 3 years.
Cartridge Care and Storage Only open a cartridge when you need it. Opened cartridges will eventually dry out, especially if the protective tape or clip has been removed. If you have an open ink cartridge around and would like to try and prevent it from drying out, place it nozzle side up in a plastic airtight tub. If your cartridge came with protective tape or a clip reapply both before storing. Place a damp cloth or paper towel in the tub, next to the cartridge and keep it stored in a cool, dark place.
