Could Be Better, But It's Passable
The replacement ink cartridges I have gotten do their job, but overall the ink is less dark than the original Brothers ink cartridge I had several years ago.

This product is compatible with my fax machine and it makes perfect images.
I love LD products for their superior customer service. You cant go wrong with them.

This product was continually causing a jam.
Having used LD products for several years, we are going to find another vendor as the quality of this product has definitely gone down hill in the past 6 months.. . The last six cartridges we purchased this year 2012 have continually jammed in our HP fax machines and we are very disappointed in attempting to use plastic extenders furnished to us by LD -- that still did not solve the problem.

Have problems seating with drum
The toner cartridge that was received has two spring loaded tangs that have nowhere to snap into on the existing drum. The original cartridge does not have these. Possibly I will have to replace the drum also to properly accept the toner cartridge. I get paper jams now when feeding from the tray. Might be caused by the toner cartridge not completely seating against the drum.

Good quality, good price
Have not used this particular unit yet, because it was purchased as a back-up for the one currently installed. However, I can say with absolute certainty that I'm 100% pleased with this company's products. I have purchased toner, drums, and inkjet cartridges many times over the last few years. On only one occasion did I receive a bad toner unit. The company promptly sent me a return shipping label and a replacement via standard UPS standard delivery.
Another plus: I've had about three inkjet printers (which I use for copies, scans, etc.) die over the years. Because I buy supplies ahead, I've got unused, unopened LD product on the shelf. LD promptly sends me a return shipping label, and let's me apply the refund to a different model of ink cartridge.
Bottom line: You can't beat it.
