The larger black cartridges for this ink set, including both the PGI-255Xl and PGI250XL, are filled with pigment based ink.

LD indicates that the 255 XXL is compatible with the Canon MX922. I did not find that to be true. Streaks and poor ink output from the beginning.

A:
The PG 250XL is a high yield cartridge and the PG-255XL is an extra high yield cartridge meaning it will print out a lot more pages. Not all printers can take the PG-255XL so make sure to double check with your printer model number.

Doesn't work on MX922 as claimed Have tried 3 of these cartridges on my MX922. All clogged and deep cleaning didn't work. Returned for refund. Other cartridge colors work fine, except 255XL, which has the same problem.. April 9, 2015
Incompatible with MX922 Purchased as part of the "value pack" for my Canon MX922. The PGI-255XXL cartridge failed almost immediately...streaks, low-to-no ink output. Poor replacement for the 250 cartridge. August 5, 2014
great buy and quality I find LD cartridges equal if not better than Cannon, plus it is good to buy them at about a third of the cost. February 13, 2014
