Installing the HP 202X
Installing this compatible HP 202X cartridge is similar to installing an OEM HP 202A/X cartridge. Here are some reminders and the step-by-step instructions to installing the HP 202X cartridge.
• Do NOT touch the imaging drum on your new compatible HP 202X cartridge. Touching the imaging drum can cause problems when printing.
• Shaking the toner before installing ensures the toner powder is more evenly distributed inside the cartridge.
• Open front printer door
• Pull out drawer that holds the toner cartridge
• Pull out toner cartridge up by the handle
• Unpack new HP 202X and pull release tab
• Do NOT touch the imaging drum during installation.
• Rock toner back and forth in a see-saw motion while holding the cartridge on both ends
• Make sure that you're installing the correct cartridge color into the correct drawer by checking that the cartridge's color chip matches the color chip on the drawer.
• Push toner drawer back and close printer door.

|Number of Pages You Can Print||A cartridge's page yield is the estimated number of pages you can print. Page yield is based on 5% page coverage. This means that the quoted page yield is based upon printed pages where only 5% of the page has been imprinted with ink. For example, a short memo has approximately 5% coverage. If you have a cartridge that has a yield of 500 pages, it can print 500 pages of that short memo. If you are printing letters, photos or graphics, your coverage will vary greatly and your page yield will drop significantly.|
