Here's how to connect your Brother MFC-J5830DW to Wi-Fi: Turn on the printer.

How do I change the cartridge in my Brother MFC-J5830DW?
Here's how to change the ink cartridge in your Brother MFC-J5830DW:
1. Turn on the printer and wait for it to become idle.
2. Open the ink cartridge cover. It's located on the right side of the printer.
3. The printer will indicate which cartridge needs replacing on the LCD screen.
4. Identify the spent cartridge by its color.
5. Press the lock release lever for that color and gently pull the cartridge out of the slot.
6. Open the package of the new ink cartridge.
Remove the orange protective cap (if present) and avoid touching the print head.
Insert the new cartridge all the way into the matching color slot until it clicks into place.
Close the ink cartridge cover.
